Party Line — Privacy Policy

Party Line ("the app," "we," "us") is a party-games app you play live with friends over FaceTime using Apple SharePlay. We designed Party Line to be privacy-friendly: there are no accounts, we do not run our own servers that collect your data, and we do not sell your information.

Information the app uses

• Profile (name & avatar). You choose a display name and a "Party Pal" avatar. These are stored on your device. When you join a live game, your name and avatar are shared with the other players in that session so everyone can see who is playing.
• Gameplay data. Your stats — games played, wins, XP, streaks — are stored locally on your device to show your progress. This data stays on your device.
• Camera & Photos (optional). If you choose to set a photo as your avatar, the app asks permission to use your camera or photo library. The photo is used only on your device to create your avatar and is never uploaded to us.

How games connect

Party Line uses Apple's SharePlay / GroupActivities over FaceTime to connect you with friends. Gameplay is shared directly between participants through Apple's SharePlay infrastructure. We do not operate a game server and do not receive or store this data. Your use of FaceTime and SharePlay is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

What we do not do

• No accounts or sign-in.
• No advertising, and no third-party ad or analytics tracking SDKs.
• We do not sell or share your personal information.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Data storage and deletion

Your profile and stats live on your device. Deleting the app removes this data. Information shown to other players during a live session exists only for that session.

Children's privacy

Party Line is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
